Grand Forks, N.D.-based Alerus hired Scott Ganje as senior vice president and director of consumer and small business banking.
Ganje, who will be based in Minnetonka, Minn., will oversee retail banking and mortgage services across Alerus’ 29 banking and wealth offices.
Ganje has nearly 30 years of retail banking experience in North Dakota and Minnesota, most recently as consumer/small business Twin Cities regional manager at St. Paul, Minn.-based Bremer Bank.
“He has served in a variety of roles in retail and finance management throughout his career, including branch manager, market manager and district consumer manager,” according to Alerus.
Ganje has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Minot (N.D.) State University.
