Bank First awards four scholarships to local students

Manitowoc, Wis.-based Bank First awarded four $2,500 scholarships this year.

The scholarships, given to students who demonstrated achievement and high standards in school and community activities. The Wisconsin high school students, whom were selected from more than 200 applicants, included:  

  • Shruti Chakrapani of St. Mary Catholic High School in Neenah, Wis. She plans to attend Saint Louis University this fall, majoring in medical sciences.
  • Joey Dringoli of Neenah High School. He will study biomedical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 
  • Alyssa Farrar of Cambridge High School. She plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and major in food science.
  • Audrey Rabitz of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. She will attend St. Cloud State University in Minnesota as a pre-physical therapy major.     

“All of our scholarship recipients are truly inspiring,” said Mike Molepske, CEO of the $4.2 billion Bank First. “They have set themselves apart through their hard work, dedication, talent and commitment to make a positive impact in their communities. We are thrilled for them and excited to see what they will accomplish in the future.”
