Bankers’ Bank announces four promotions

Madison, Wis.-based Bankers’ Bank appointed a former Wells Fargo veteran to lead its investment operations unit while promoting a director of its BankCards program. 

Bankers’ Bank hired Joshua McCarville as vice president of investment operations and promoted Nicole Lee to first vice president and BankCards director. 

McCarville was an operations, due diligence and compliance consultant at a boutique private equity firm in San Diego. He’s also worked at Wells Fargo and Abbot Downing, a former Wells Fargo unit which served the bank’s ultra-high-net-worth customers. McCarville has a degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is certified with FINRA SIE, Series 6, 63 and 99.

McCarville will mentor and supervise the Bankers’ Bank investment operations team, develop procedures to comply with regulations and oversee the delegation of tasks, training and communication to meet the scope of projects and ensure proper workflow. Bankers’ Bank investment operations department features a fixed income dealer desk; bond accounting; investment sales and trading; and municipal underwriting and compliance.

Lee, who joined Bankers’ Bank in August, has more than 20 years of banking experience. Lee, most recently an assistant vice president credit card underwriting manager at Oakland, Calif.-based community development institution Beneficial State Bank, has been a branch manager, consumer lending operations manager and credit card underwriting manager. She is pursuing a degree in organizational behavior and leadership at Edgewood College.

Bankers’ Bank BankCard program offers credit card issuing, merchant services and a prepaid card program. Bankers’ Bank is a leading correspondent bank for more than 700 community banks in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan.

Bankers’ Bank promoted Walter Nelson to assistant vice president of risk management solutions and Marco Concotelli to AVP, business analyst.

Nelson has been with Bankers’ Bank for seven months, and most recently served as a remediation analyst team lead at Citibank. Nelson has a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. 

Concotelli has 25 years of experience in the financial sector, including 15 years at a hedge fund in California and a decade with Capital Group Companies. Concotelli has a master’s degree in education from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
