Marion, Ill.-based Banterra Bank hired Joe Gliosci Jr. as senior banker for southern Illinois.
Gliosci has served in regional executive roles since 2005, most recently as Illinois region president for Legence Bank, Benton, Ill. He has a Bachelor of Business degree from Western Illinois University, Macomb, and took extended financial courses at Montana State University, Bozeman.
“I have known [Gliosci] for a long time, simply as a former resident of Mt. Vernon, Ill., his service on the city council and as a fellow bank leader,” said Jeff May, president and CEO of the $2.8 billion bank. “He has a vast amount of bank leadership experience in Illinois and his roster is just as strong in community service. We are fortunate to have [Gliosci] join the Banterra team.”
