Bremer Bank donates $10K to local YWCA

St. Paul, Minn.-based Bremer Bank donated $10,000 to YWCA St. Paul.

The donation is expected to support YWCA St. Paul’s Employment & Economic Development and Housing programs. The nonprofit seeks to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace.

Considered part of the bank’s 80th anniversary celebration, the donation is one of eight Bremer made to nonprofits that signify the bank’s philanthropic focus areas of financial education, affordable housing and economic empowerment in Minnesota, western Wisconsin and North Dakota.

“Bremer was founded in St. Paul, and this city has been an important, longstanding part of our eight-decade story,” said President and CEO Jeanne Crain. “YWCA St. Paul does critical work in this community, and we are honored for the opportunity to support YWCA’s work through this donation.

“We are deeply grateful to Bremer Bank for its steadfast support,” added YWCA St. Paul CEO Ashley Booker. “Bremer Bank is one of our longest-standing partners and we thank Bremer Bank for their commitment to our mission, programs and participants.”
