St. Paul-based Bremer Bank recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of a branch in Minot, N.D.

The 7,500-square-foot branch, which opened earlier this year, combines the bank’s two existing Minot branches into one location. The bank’s other branch in Minot remains open to drive-thru or walk-up customers. The space includes workstations for Bremer employees and “partner tables” in the lobby instead of traditional teller lines.

“We are pleased to reinvest in the Minot community with a new and modern branch as we continue to serve our customers as a relationship and solution-oriented community bank,” said President and CEO Jeanne Crain. “This region of North Dakota has played an important role in Bremer’s enduring history and our continued growth over the years.”

Bremer Bank also recently announced two new hires in the Minot market, including Michael King as Minot market president and Madison Sundsbak as agriculture relationship manager. King has more than 20 years of local banking experience, most recently at First Western Bank & Trust, Minot. The duo will partner with Business Relationship Manager David Baker.

“We are fully committed to helping the Minot community thrive, and these new additions — along with our exceptional existing team — further that commitment,” said Brent Iserman, the bank’s region president. “Our new Minot branch also helps ensure we’ll remain a consistent community partner for years to come.”
