Award winners named
The Community Bankers of Iowa honored Dale Torpey, chairman of Federation Bank, Washington, Iowa, with the Robert D. Dixon Founders Award.
The Founders award is the highest honor given by CBI. Torpey was selected for his devoted service to the banking industry. He is a past chairman of CBI (2011-12) and has served on various ICBA committees, including terms as chairman and co-chair of the ICBA lending committee. Torpey also has served as chairman of the board for Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines.
