Lacasa Chief Impact Officer Heidi Stoltzfus McHugh said the partnership helps the nonprofit to “fulfill its commitment to those it serves — particularly with the Help-A-House program,” which aids low-income homeowners through partnerships with the city, churches and local businesses. Through the program, volunteers are deployed to projects that improve neighborhoods, and single- and multi-family housing is developed for affordable rentals and purchases.

“Lacasa is a fantastic organization and our strong partnership helps open doors of opportunity to help strengthen families and pave the way for a better community,” said Glenn Peterson, branch manager at Centier Bank’s downtown Elkhart, Ind., branch.
