Merrillville, Ind.-based Centier Bank is slated to open a new branch on Jan. 10 at 2850 W. Cleveland Road in South Bend, Ind. Centier Bank has had a presence in Greater South Bend since 2017.
“At a time in which other banks are merging or abandoning this area, Centier Bank is planting more roots and continuing investment in South Bend,” said President and CEO Michael E. Schrage. “Our growth is a testament to our community focus and ‘not- for-sale’ promise that we will remain family-owned and Indiana-based.”
A ribbon-cutting event is planned for Feb. 9.
“Centier is a family-oriented organization that wants to do what is best for their clients and communities,” added Kevin Fautz, branch manager of the new location. “There is a real focus here to make South Bend a better place to live and work.”
The $6 billion Centier has more than 50 offices in Indiana.
