Centier Bank opens second branch in Indianapolis this year

Merrillville, Ind.-based Centier Bank recently opened its newest Indianapolis-area branch.

Branch Manager Carin Sassatelli joined Centier executives in welcoming members of the Indianapolis community during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The celebration also included a $5,000 donation to First Baptist Athletics, a neighboring organization that offers Indianapolis families youth sports programs with an educational emphasis on athletics and respect.

Sassatelli joins Centier with 16 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently as vice president and branch manager for a national financial institution.

“It’s an amazing time to join Centier Bank as they continue their Indianapolis expansion, and I look forward to contributing to this growth in the community,” Sassatelli said. “I am fortunate to lead a team of compassionate associates who showcase the culture and service for which Centier is known.”

The branch, at 1313 W. 86th St., is the second Indianapolis-area branch opened this year. The bank is expected to expand in Carmel, Ind., and Brownsburg, Ind., before the end of the year.

“We are honored to celebrate our continued commitment to Indianapolis residents and businesses and play a role in their advancement and financial future,” said CEO and board Chair Mike Schrage. “In a time where bank branches are disappearing and personalized service is declining, we remain focused on the community banking approach for which we have been known and celebrated over our 129-year history.”
