Sparta, Mich.-based ChoiceOne Bank hired William Bruinsma, Brandon Hayes and Bonnie Potter as loan team members.
The bank named Bruinsma and Hayes vice presidents and commercial loan officers, and Potter as a mortgage loan officer.
Bruinsma has an MBA in finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has more than three decades of experience in commercial banking, most recently as senior vice president, middle market banking.
Hayes joined ChoiceOne with seven years in banking, including business banking, mortgages and most recently as a commercial loan officer. He has a bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University, University Center, Mich.
Potter has more than 20 years of experience as a mortgage loan officer for several regional banks in western
Michigan. Potter has an MBA from Aquinas College and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Davenport College, both in Grand Rapids, Mich.
“These three loan officers have extensive experience in their fields and will play a significant role in our continued growth in west and southeast Michigan,” said ChoiceOne CEO Kelly Potes.
