Sparta, Mich.-based ChoiceOne Bank hired James Rosset as a vice president and wealth advisor and promoted several other employees.
Rosset has more than 25 years in the financial industry, the last of 10 of which as assistant vice president at a regional bank.
Promotions included:
- Ty Schmidt to VP wealth management. Schmidt started his career with ChoiceOne Financial Advisors in 2016 as a financial advisor and broker. He has more than 20 years of experience in business and entrepreneurship.
- Luke Spoelstra to VP network security. He joined ChoiceOne in 2017 as a senior IT analyst, and was most recently promoted to cybersecurity team lead in 2023.
- Louise Vermillion to VP loss prevention/fraud manager. Vermillion, who has more than 40 years of banking experience, joined ChoiceOne in 1998 as the bookkeeping manager.
- Tara Weber to AVP, treasury services manager. She has 21 years of banking experience, having joined ChoiceOne intermittently since 2003.
- Tracy Dryden to risk management specialist officer. Dryden joined ChoiceOne as a teller in 1997.
