ChoiceOne Bank expands tech department with three hires

Sparta, Mich.-based ChoiceOne Bank hired Chris Allamon as vice president, director of technology and innovation; Steve Turk as assistant vice president, information technologies project manager; and Mortgage Loan Originator Elijah Williams. 

Allamon has more than 20 years of experience in IT and security, most recently as VP, director of IT and security at a Michigan regional bank for the last nine years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University, Columbus, Ohio.

 Turk has nearly 20 years of experience in IT. He has a Master of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, Flint. 

Williams has more than 10 years of senior mortgage lending experience. He began his career as a senior mortgage banker with a national online mortgage company, and his last six years were spent at a regional bank. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwood University in Midland, Mich.
