Denver-based InBankshares and its subsidiary InBank appointed Kevin Ahern chair of the board.
A longtime banking and finance executive, Ahern is managing partner of Denver-based private equity firm Brush Creek Partners. He has 40 years of experience as an entrepreneur, operator and investor in banking, investment management, investment banking, insurance and private equity.
Ed Francis, who was CEO and board chair, will continue as CEO and board member of $1.35 billion InBankshares and InBank.
Francis said Ahern’s “reputation in Colorado and across the banking and finance industry is stellar and we are very fortunate to have him serve in this capacity. Kevin’s deep board experience will ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and I am confident that this added leadership capacity will prove beneficial.”
