Bank funds help to deal with flooding

      Many banks in North and South Dakota dealt with flooding this summer. Late June, when floodwaters were at their peak, the North Dakota Bankers Association, the Independent Community Banks of North Dakota and the Bank of North Dakota coordinated a conference call involving experts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and other federal and state agencies. About 90 people from around the state participated in the call as plans were developed for dealing with the rising water.
