Informal exchange leads to deal for Wisconsin banks
Wisconsin’s State Bank of Cross Plains, based on the west side of the Madison area, has completed its purchase of Black Earth State Bank. Founded in 1904, Black Earth has $45 million in assets and one office that will stay open under the State Bank name. All employees will be retained.
