Dave Schlauderaff was named president of Edina, Minn.-based Merchants Bank Equipment Finance.
Schlauderaff replaces Rick Barry, who retired from the bank in December. Schlauderaff, who started his career in banking since 1998, has spent the last 25 years with U.S. Bank, Minneapolis.
Schlauderaff graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., with a degree in business administration and communications.
“[Schlauderaff] has worked in equipment finance his entire career and brings broad industry expertise to Merchants and the business clients and vendor partners we serve in this highly specialized area,” said Greg Evans, CEO of the $2.6 billion Merchants Bank. “I know he will be a tremendous asset, bringing great leadership ability to our equipment finance team and in helping us strategically grow this line of business.”
