Faces of Architecture: Kirk Gross

When our clients achieve maximum efficiency, differentiate their brand and fulfill their business plan, then we have achieved a win-win.

Kirk Gross has long history of doing ‘Whatever it Takes’

The projects that resonate are the projects with the biggest challenges such as digging a basement in solid bedrock only to find that the neighboring building had a cave underneath it. There are remodels of old buildings that require engineering to keep them structurally together and safe. There are projects where we’ve removed a second floor or added a second floor while keeping the bank open and safe.

Our culture has been built on 83 years of customer service or a “whatever it takes” mindset. We strive everyday to go beyond the customer’s expectations and build raving fans. Projects that come to mind would be the natural disasters we have responded to on behalf of our customers. The tornado in Parkersburg, Iowa, on Memorial Day of 2008. Our team was onsite within a few hours — we assessed the damage and structural soundness, put on a temporary roof, cleaned up the site and assisted the bank in opening for business the next day.
