Indiana’s First Bank of Berne announced $13,000 in donations to four local organizations this month:
- $6,000 to Boys & Girls Club of Adams County.
- $3,000 to Pennville Community Park to support a purse bingo fundraiser.
- $3,000 to Youth for Christ. The organization “reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement,” according to the bank.
- $1,000 to South Adams Athletic Boosters to support athletic programs. Two South Adams seniors are being provided with a $750 scholarship based on their attitude and athletic participation, sportsmanship and academic achievement.
