First Bank of Berne donates $2K to local groups

First Bank of Berne in Indiana donated $2,000 to local groups this month:

• $1,000 to LifeWise, a group providing a Bible-based education to public school students, for a Christmas tree festival on Dec. 6-8 at a local church. More than 20 trees were on display throughout the church. Funds raised from cookie, cocoa and ticket sales along with cash voting for trees were expected to be donated to all three LifeWise programs in Adams County. 

  

• $1,000 to Friends Who Care Cancer Relief Foundation for an annual gospel concert and auction. The group helps people with financial needs from battling cancer.
