C&C Bible Fellowship hosts events throughout the summer, including fully-accessible hayrides, a petting zoo, lunch and other activities. The group partners with Easter seals/ARC of Northeast Indiana and Fresh New Start to run the events.

“C&C Bible Fellowship relies on donations to make events like this happen,” the bank stated. “This donation will offset the cost of rentals, activities, and any other costs associated with the expenses incurred.”

First Bank of Berne has frequently supported the communities it serves this month, donating $2,500 to Stillwater Hospice to support the organization’s holiday Memorial Tree Event; $1,000 to the Decatur Fire Department to purchase new and updated equipment; $2,500 to the Alive and Well nonprofit to benefit the wellness of teenagers; and $1,000 to the Redkey Gas Boom Days community festival.
