Berger, founder of Phoenix-based real estate investment firm Berger Holdings LLC, graduated from Vanderbilt University, Nashville. Berger Holdings has investments in Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Idaho and New York.

Berger and two partners established BB Living in 2011. The partnership marked the start of one of the first developers in the “build-to-rent” subdivision sector, according to a press release. The company has developed more than 1,000 existing and under-construction units in five states.

“Darryl has cultivated a successful career in real estate and investment, focusing on developing single-family rentals, multifamily projects and full-service hotels,” according to the bank.
