     Q. Tell us about some of your major accomplishments with ABA.

     A. One of the most important things was solving the interstate banking controversy. Working with the state associations, we came up with a compromise that seemed to satisfy almost everybody. And getting that done with the Riegle-Neal bill really helped us present a much more unified and stronger voice for the industry. It made a difference.
