First Security Bank, philanthropic arm donate $12K for new library floor

Charles City, Iowa-based First Security Bank and its philanthropic arm First Security Foundation donated $12,000 to restore the floor in the meeting space of the Charles City Public Library. 

The project will include new paint, tables and chairs. First Security Bank and First Security Foundation donated a matching $6,000. 

“The meeting room is a tremendous asset to the community and this much-needed upgrade will ensure that it continues to be available as a public gathering place,” said Annette Dean, director of the Charles City Public Library.
