First Security Bank & Trust, Charles City, Iowa, hired Cathi Luett as chief credit officer.
Luett spent more than 35 years with the Iowa Division of Banking, where she advised bankers in the state’s northern and central counties on policies and procedures in lending and accounting. She retired from the position and now works for First Security on a part-time basis.
She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Northern Iowa,
She served as Girl Scout Troop leader in Nora Springs for 5 years and as the leader for the Portland Community Springers 4-H Club for 8 years. She held key roles in fundraising for the NSRF PTO and Central Springs Middle School Music Boosters. She has also served for several years as a director of the Iowa Ranch Horse Association and has been president of the North Iowa Saddle Clubs Association for the past two years.
