Flagship’s Schornack takes on additional presidential role

Glencoe, Minn.-based Security Bank & Trust Company announced earlier this week that Andy Schornack will assume the role of president effective Jan. 1. He will report to Security CEO Gale Hoese.

Schornack has been leading Security’s affiliated company, Wayzata-based Flagship Bank Minnesota, as CEO over the past several years. He recently handed off the president’s role at Flagship to the bank’s Brian Wagner, who was previously an executive vice president.

Security also announced the promotion of Rachel Schuette, current vice president of operations, to chief operating officer effective Jan. 1.

Established in 1935, the $509 million Security Bank & Trust Co. is a community bank with 12 locations, serving customers in McLeod and Carver counties and the western suburbs of the Twin Cities metro.
