FNB Waterloo adds Swansea office

Illinois-based First National Bank of Waterloo is adding a full-service branch in Swansea, Ill., later this year.

FNB Waterloo is moving into a building currently occupied by a First Mid Bank & Trust branch, which the Mattoon bank will be moving out of shortly. The FNB branch, its fourteenth overall, is slated to open this summer after renovations are completed.

“First National Bank of Waterloo is excited to become part of Swansea and to serve the banking needs of that great community with our first-class, personal service,” said Rick Parks, president and CEO of the $750 million bank. “This expansion allows us to better serve the businesses and residents of St. Clair County from a convenient Swansea location.”

Established in 1912, FNB Waterloo has 13 other branches in central and southern Illinois.
