The Marshfield, Wis.-based Forward Bank board of directors elected Allan Michalski as chair of the board at its April meeting.
Michalski joined the board in 2008 and has served on audit, compensation and loan committees. He replaces outgoing board Chair John Marshall, according to a press release, who is expected to continue as an active member of the bank and holding company boards. Marshall has been formally appointed as past chair.
Michalski is CFO of the Marshfield-based stainless steel manufacturing firm Felker Brothers Corp.
“(Michalski’s) approach to leadership as a member of the board has always been admired by the executive team and employees of Forward,” said Forward Bank CEO Bill Sennholz. “He has a unique ability to question and support new initiatives at the same time, which makes our strategic planning process strong and helps drive us to new successes.”
