German American Bancorp names new board member

Jasper, Ind.-based German American Bancorp, Inc., appointed Angela Curry to its corporate board of directors effective Jan. 1. 

Curry, general counsel and vice president for legal affairs at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, will assume a seat on the board Jan. 1. Curry was appointed as the university’s interim chief of staff in 2021.  

Curry has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College, Atlanta, and a law degree from Boston University School of Law.

Curry added that the $6.2 billion bank’s “successful, purpose-driven approach to delivering financial services is affirmed by its exceptional level of growth and performance over the past decade.”
