Merchants Bank of Indiana recently added Mark Harville as vice president, SBA business development officer, and John Rinker as vice president of business banking.

In his role, Harville will help lead the SBA team at Merchants Bank. Rinker will work with small businesses to large commercial companies, providing business loans, deposit services and other services for organizations throughout the country.

Harville had worked as a business banker with Merchants since 2018. Rinker previously served as a relationship manager at First Merchants Corp. for three years and has also worked for PNC Bank, serving in roles ranging from senior business banker to commercial banking relationship manager. He also spent more than nine years with Fifth Third Bank.

Rinker holds a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

“We are very excited about Mark’s newest role with us and John’s latest addition to the Merchants Bank team,” said Michael Dunlap, CEO of the Carmel-based Merchants Bank. “Our fresh approach to business banking propels our company and our clients forward — we take time to fully understand your business, no matter how big or how small, to create products and services unique to your needs. Mark and John are well suited to support this mission.”
