Iowa-based Hills Bancorporation appointed Lisa Shileny to president of the company’s subsidiary, Hills Bank and Trust.
According to a Nov. 14 SEC filing, Shileny has been with the approximately $4 billion since 2005 and has since served in numerous senior positions, most recently as chief operating officer, a role she will continue in.
Shileny, who started her career as a lawyer after graduating in 2002 with a law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is expected to graduate from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania next year.
Dwight Seegmiller is expected to continue as CEO and president of Hills Bancorp.
