Chris Schneiderman was appointed president/CEO of Freeport, Ill.-based State Bank. Schneiderman was promoted to president last October as Peter Morrison remained CEO of the bank. Morrison has since transitioned to president and CEO of the bank’s holding company, Foresight Financial Group, Inc.
Schneiderman began his community banking career with Bank One Wisconsin, and joined State Bank in 2002. A graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign and the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking, Schneiderman has served in several executive roles at the $1.4 billion bank.
