Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Independent Bank is expanding its west Michigan footprint by adding a commercial banking office in downtown Holland.
The bank office will be at 151 Central Ave., Suite 100. Holland-based employees will have an average of nearly 30 years in commercial lending, the bank said.
“We are combining experienced lenders with local decision-making to bring the best business experience to the lakeshore,” Independent said.
The $4.6 billion Independent Bank already has 62 branches across Michigan’s lower peninsula.
