First Bank of Berne announced three donations this month:
- $2,620 to Portland, Ind.-based Jay Community Center, an organization that uses sports, recreation and fitness to improve the health and social interactions of the community’s families.
- $2,000 to Helping Hands. The Indiana organization builds relationships through medical services, education and advocacy. First Bank of Berne was the main sponsor for Helping Hands’ recent Women’s Initiative.
- A donation of an undisclosed amount to Forgotten Children Worldwide to help provide basic needs, education and self-sustainability to vulnerable children. The organization provides food, clothing, shelter, education and faith-based support.
