Frankfort, Ind.-based The Farmers Bank elected Matt Jackson to its board.
Jackson is president and founder of Lebanon, Ind.-based Jackson Investment Group. He has 18 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus in the medical, industrial, office and health care fields.
Chris Cook, president and CEO of the $950 million bank, said Jackson’s “knowledge of CRE is a significant added value for the bank. Also, his community involvement in Boone County aligns with our company’s community focus. I look forward to the insights and direction he will bring to our board of directors and The Farmers Bank.”
The $950 million bank announced the retirement of Karen Gregerson from the boards of both The Farmers Bank and its holding company Farmers Bancorp. In 2016, Gregerson joined The Farmers Bank as bank president and CEO and holding company as president, while serving on both boards as a non-independent director. She retired as president and CEO last September.
