Spirit Lake, Iowa-based Northwest Bank recently donated $20,000 to Spirit Lake Community Schools’ “Let’s Play it Forward” capital campaign.
The campaign is intended to build a playground that fosters creativity, friendships and memories for children, according to the nearly $3 billion bank. Northwest Bank employees Jed Jensen and Nicole Evans donated the money to Spirit Lake Elementary School Principal Jessica Vancura and elementary school students.
“Our donation underscores Northwest Bank’s commitment to investing in our community,” Evans said. “We recognize that this project goes beyond building a playground; it’s about creating a foundation for lifelong friendships, fostering self-confidence and nurturing a love for our community.”
