Lincoln Savings Bank names Schick regional lending leader

Iowa’s Lincoln Savings Bank has promoted Mike Schick to Cedar Valley regional lending leader in northeast Iowa.

Schick joined Reinbeck-based LSB in 2010 to help launch the bank’s mortgage division, where he spent nine years leading the department. In 2012, he moved from Cedar Valley to the Des Moines market to help Lincoln Savings establish footprints in Clive, Adel and Ankeny, Iowa. In Des Moines, Schick was the market leader for five years and served on the Des Moines Advisory Board. In 2017, he became the director of sales and moved back to Cedar Valley, where he helped establish several leadership teams.

Schick has more than 20 years of financial industry experience and is considered to have played a major role in the bank’s growth. Schick attended Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa.

“I’m passionate about the Cedar Valley,” he said. “I value relationships, I like helping people and I love to see things grow, so for me this was a perfect fit.”

The $1.4 billion LSB has 17 branches in Iowa.
