Merchants Bank food drive nets more than 260,000 pounds of food

Winona, Minn.-based Merchants Bank helped raise 260,374 pounds of food this year through its annual “10 Days of Giving” food drive.

The drive netted $120,951 in cash and nearly 18,500 pounds of food. Merchants Bank, which collaborates on the program with nonprofit Winona Volunteer Services, collected donations at branches and participating area schools, businesses and other organizations.

A press release states that the total is the fourth-highest in campaign history, after the 25th anniversary of the campaign netted more than 280,000 pounds.
