Winona, Minn.-based Merchants Bank hired Steve Molander as chief information officer.
Molander replaces current CIO Stephen Swenson, who will retire at the end of this month from the $2.6 billion bank. He has more than 30 years of experience in information technology, including 23 with community banks. Molander was most recently chief technology officer for Falcon Bank, and has also had IT leadership positions for Frandsen Financial Corp. and 21st Century Bank.
Molander graduated from St. Cloud State University.
