Michigan’s Independent Bank opens commercial banking branch

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Independent Bank opened a commercial banking and loan center on Sept. 30 in Clinton Township.

Duraid Jamoua, who has managed the bank’s Shelby Township (Mich.) location, now serves as bank manager of the Clinton Township branch. Clinton Township is in Macomb County, Mich., approximately 20 miles north of downtown Detroit.   

“We are pleased to be opening a full-service branch in Clinton Township, in addition to our current commercial banking center,” said Independent Bank President and CEO Brad Kessel. “We look forward to expanding our footprint in this market, and to making more of our products and services available for our customers.”
