St. Louis-based Midwest BankCentre promoted Lisa Morgan to senior vice president, commercial lender, community and economic development.
Morgan has more than 40 years of banking experience, including 25 in mortgage and commercial lending. She is playing a major role in Midwest BankCentre’s five-year, $200 million pledge to increase homeownership and grow small businesses. Morgan has reportedly signed 35 new business deposit customers in the past year, totaling nearly $6 million in deposits, and secured two-dozen new business loan customers valued at a total of almost $10 million.
“I am passionate about my work at Midwest BankCentre because it allows me to do what I truly love, helping communities thrive,” Morgan said. “My mission is to support real estate investors in providing affordable housing for families, assist churches and nonprofits in securing capital to serve their communities, revitalize economically challenged areas in the St. Louis region, and empower business owners with the financial resources, tools and access to all available products and services at the bank they need to grow and succeed.”
Morgan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
