Brad Miller has joined Charles City, Iowa-based First Security Bank as chief financial officer.
Miller has a background in public accounting, institutional investment management and community-based financial institutions. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, and an MBA from Washburn University, Topeka, Kan.
“Brad brings tremendous financial and analytical experience that we will benefit from as a bank,” said First Security Bank President/CEO Kurt Herbrechtsmeyer. “He and his family are going to add a lot of energy and experience to our community as well.”
A Wichita, Kan., native, Miller enjoys volunteering for organizations helping the hungry, homeless, and under-housed.
The $592 million First Security Bank has 13 branches across north central Iowa.
