The $300 million HomeTown Bank’s branch is adjacent to a newly-opened Hy-Vee grocery store in the rapidly growing Scott County, located approximately 30 miles southwest of Minneapolis.

Joining in the celebration are several businesses that share the retail block with the bank. Plans include: An appearance by the Minnesota Vikings Skol Line (4:30 p.m.); live music by Two Hicks and a Chick (5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.); a BBQ dinner catered by Hy-Vee; kids’ activities; a rowing contest; and prize giveaways that include a drone, a big screen TV, professional sports tickets, gift cards and Canterbury Park tickets. The bank will also be giving away “Welcome Wallets” that include a $10 gift card to Hy-Vee, a $10 Starbucks gift card, three free car washes and one free week at Orangetheory when a new Value Checking Account is opened.

“All of us at HomeTown Bank are excited to welcome friends and neighbors and meet new people at the event. We’re excited to show the modern features of our new branch,” said Tim Grabow, president and CEO of HomeTown Bank.

HomeTown Bank’s new Shakopee branch is located southwest of where Marystown Road intersects US Hwy. 169. It is HomeTown Bank’s tenth full-service location and its second in Shakopee.
