Community bank donates $200,000 to nonprofits

Wisconsin community bank The Stephenson National Bank & Trust donated $200,000 this year to 84 local nonprofits in nearby Marinette, Oconto and Brown, along with Menominee and Marquette in Michigan.

“Our communities are blessed to have an abundance of caring individuals. Together, they help hundreds of area residents,” said Daniel J. Peterson, SNBT president and CEO. “To assist our local nonprofits with their valuable missions, we are honored to give them a token of our appreciation and remind them that we stand behind them through good times and bad.”

The donations are part of the bank’s annual community service pledge. Bank employees pledge volunteer hours every year, and 46 have promised nearly 5,100 hours to 110 organizations for 2022.
