New president, CEO named at Foresight Financial

Winnebago, Ill.-based Foresight Financial Group named Jeff Hultman president of subsidiary Foresight Bank while appointing Pete Morrison to CEO.  

The changes were in preparation for the retirements of President/CEO Warren Laube and Chief Lending Officer Kerry Hoops.

Morrison joined Foresight Financial Group in 2021 as president of Freeport, Ill.-based State Bank. He served as president of Elgin (Ill.) State Bank for 12 years, before it was acquired by Wintrust Financial.  

Hultman, who joined Foresight Financial last April, has more than 30 years of banking experience, more than 20 of which in leadership positions. He was market president for an additional seven years at Illinois Bank & Trust. 

Foresight Financial named Linda Heckert market president for Foresight Bank. She will also oversee Northwest Bank of Rockford and State of Bank of Davis markets.
