The Leeds, N.D., bank’s Our Community Scholarship Fund was put in place to recognize and award area high school seniors who have given their time through non-profit and community service organizations to help make our communities a better place.

In addition to the scholarship, each awarded student had the opportunity to choose a local non-profit organization to receive a $500 donation on the student’s behalf.

The Our Community Scholarship recipients and their selected non-profits were:

Turtle Lake/Mercer Public School: Trey Klain – The Lord’s Pantry

Minot High School: Rhett Pederson – Boy Scout Troup 433
