Associated using new web authentication tactic
Associated Bank, Green Bay, Wis., is now using out-of-band authentication (OOBA) to secure some business services delivered via the internet. Associated Bank’s OOBA verifies the identity of the user by calling them on their landline or mobile phone and requiring the user to enter another personal identification number into their phone.
