Community Bankers of Kansas seeking new leader
Can a person run for office and hold the presidency of an industry trade group at the same time? That’s the question Shari Weber has been trying to answer since the former state legislator took the job as head of the Community Bankers Association of Kansas in May 2003. The ultimate answer may be no, considering the association terminated her employment Sept. 2, after she declined to drop out of the race for a state senate seat.
