Ohio banker reappointed to Fed council

Diane M. Hoops, chair, president and CEO of the Corn City State Bank, Deshler, Ohio, has been appointed to a second term on the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.

Hoops was originally appointed to the council in 2015 for a three-year term. She was recently reappointed for an additional three-year term.

The Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council is composed of representatives from commercial banks, thrift institutions, and credit unions in the Fourth Federal Reserve District, an area that comprises Ohio, western Pennsylvania, eastern Kentucky, and the northern panhandle of West Virginia.

Council members meet with Reserve Bank leaders at least twice yearly and provide anecdotal information that is useful to the Cleveland Fed in the consideration of monetary policy and economic research activities.

Hoops is one of eleven members who currently make up the Cleveland Reserve Bank’s CDIAC. Find the complete list of council members here.
