Old National names chief strategy officer

John Moran

John Moran has rejoined Old National Bank in Evansville, Ind., as chief strategy officer. He formerly spent 2017-2019 with the company as director of corporate development and strategy.

Most recently, Moran served as the chief financial officer for NBT Bancorp, an $11.5 billion bank based in Norwich, N.Y. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions in investment research for more than 15 years, including with Macquarie Group, Cohen & Co. and Ryan Beck & Co.

A New Jersey native, Moran has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in finance from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J., and a master’s degree in real estate development from Columbia University, New York City. 

The $23.7 billion Old National has branches in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
